Train is no good as there isn't one back, the bus is the easiest way of getting there but coming back you can only get as far as Burtonwood. Will text you later. Looking forwards to it despite not being a fan of the ground, my Leyth mate is coming along- we usually play at our best when he is there! |

Biggest hassle for me this year was getting back to Hull from Wakey, it took the best part of three hours. Oh and thanks to a signalling problem in Bradford I nearly missed the last train from Leeds to Hull but luckily the station manager in Bradford Interchange was a Cas fan and put me in a taxi to Leeds for free! The joys of living 100 miles away from your club for most of the year...  |

I'm not 100% on this but I'm pretty sure they shut the barriers on that car park at some point. Don't know when sorry. There's a thread on the Saints board about parking if you want some help.

The ground is a ten minute walk from the town centre with various pubs there. If you like real ale then I can recommend The Phoenix pub which is up the road going towards Pilks i.e. the road going away from the town centre from where Cineworld is.
The picture on this link shows the pub looking back towards the junction where Cineworld is (it's about 100m from that junction).

I've heard good things about this place on a match day! Does it still have that sign up about being named pub of the year 2004 or something?!
