| I really hope Adrian decides to hang up his boots at the end of the year.
His deteriorating form is becoming very evident and I would rather he went out with his head held high rather than being remembered for some rather tepid performances.
Thats all.

| Positive as usual, beat a Leeds side in monsoon conditions and hardly put a foot wrong, and considering we top the error charts and people pick out arguably the greatest forward of his generation for criticism even though he did nothing wrong other than be out performed by the exceptional fresh talent of Chris Hill and Gaz Carvell who on his day can be almost unstoppable, wow, just wow.
I know the argument of sentiment in sport but that aside what did Moz do wrong last night?
The trouble Adrian has is he was such an outstanding player that when he drops off to a standard of the normal forward in SL it's noticed, last night very few forwards in SL would have been classed as better, he's just not the best in the world anymore that's all.

| Moz played well, for me the worrying thing was the England Capt...Peacock was shocking!! Okay Moz may of not played enough to get in the squad but how can likes of Hill be overlooked and peacock get in!
Moz is more an off the bench forward for me now but still quality player to have in the 17!

Thats all ? Seriously ? Its a good job your opinions (which of course your very entitled too) mean absolutely nothing. The bloke is 2 games back from injury and your wanting to send him to the knackers yard ?
Despite his age or recent injury problems he's still world class, hence the Roosters recent interest in re-signing him. I'd be delighted if we got him for another year as our Captain.
When you shake your head from side-to-side does it make a rattling noise ?

| He obviously wants to make a point as he's said basically the same thing on three different threads this morning. Always has a way of making a negative out of a positive result does Colin.

Agreed...I also think that Moz will have to be told to retire can't see him doing it off his own back just yet..

An even bigger worry than the form (or lack of it) from the England captain is that there are 6 Leeds players in the squad, and none of them in great form. Sinfield was terrible last night. His lack of pace when he was on the right hand side of defence was badly exposed. The only man who looked in any real form was JJB. I didn't even realise that Bailey was playing until he refused to move back 10 yards for that last penalty.

| Two games back from injury out performed the England Captain Peacock won IMO is washed up !
Moz will work his way back to full fitness and performance same as Carvell did
Leave Moz alone he's done nothing wrong !
When u think we still have Sol , Mike Monnas , Woody still to come back into that pack it's gonna be awesome and me for one can't wait ! I do feel a tad sorry for the teams we play against wen their all back it's gonna be embarrassing for them !

| A fully fit pack and bench would have to be IMO
Hill
Monnas
Carvell
Waterhouse
Westwood
Grix
Subs
Morley
Wood
Solomona
Higham
Now that's IMO the best forward line up in SL not just Warrington !

At the moment Morley, Solomona and Wood, probably Grix too. Why no Harrison?

| Everything he's gave to this sport and the way he has put his body on the line time after time for someone to say "I hope he hangs up his boots this year" is disrespectful. He will finish on his own terms, this year or next. Hopefully it ends with him lifting a trophy at old Trafford.

| Although Colin is a ing moron, he has every right to be riding on Morely. You can claim that he is only 2 games back from injury and that alst year he was out for a little while with blindness, but he stopped being the scary and effective forward legend of the Roosters after he cleaned Hansen's bell in March of 2010 (I think).
I like Morely and would have him in the squad occasionally (for leadership and for his service) but he Hill has out played him this year and Wood and Carvs made him look like an under 20s last year. The question that needs to be raised is 'is he worth the money?'
Morely, even since his neutering, demands a top dollar dollar bill and the question may well be raised that we either offering him big bucks and/or a contract that is too long, i norder to keep him, or he buggers off somewhere else (to Hull or Wigan - clubs famous for buying ty forwards of late). I know where I'd rather have him, and it isn't in the P+B.

I watched the game back this morning and did you see Peacock in the warm-up? He could barely move, he looked like an old man at a kids disco.
He's been bullied for 160 minutes of rugby in the last week. Non-stop, flat-out bullied from the first kick to last in two straight games. And he's England captain?! AWFUL!

I'd go along with this, even though the OP was a bit blunt, there is a valid point. Take away who the man is and what he's done and look at his form over the last 12 months, He works hard but how often have you seen him making the yards, bumping players off, dominating them in the tackle? every great player becomes ineffective at some point, just the way it is.

| Our fans really do suffer from going from one extreme to another. Morley played well, yes he's declining but he's nowhere near as bad as what some people seem to want him to be -- people are still expecting Morley in his pomp. He's a different player now, he still gives us good performances and if he hangs up his boots, good for Moz, if he doesn't and Smith deems him good enough to stay, then I'll be happy with that.
