I'd take a punt on Bateman and Whitehead, good young talent. I am always disappointed with Langley. The guy looks the part but I never see him utilise it properly!

The winger Jason Crookes has a lot of potential. As does Eliot Whitehead.

I also like 'bring back the biff' Elima.

I think Langley is well past his best and wouldn't fit with our recruitment.

I'll have the young players mentioned. Sammut's really good to watch but I wouldn't have him here.

Sykes and Platt - a couple of experienced heads to steady the ship.

Brett Kearney if Hodgson retires? Not managed to see that much of Kearney in SL but I used to see a bit of him in his NRL days, always looked class then.

Bateman is an outstanding young player.

There's no point having our 20's if we're going to be constantly looking over the fence.

I like Whitehead, Bateman, Addy, Kear etc, but if we've not got better coming through our 20's right now I'd be disappointed. The likes of Currie, Saltonstall etc need to see a pathway to the first team and for me could be speial.

I have been distinctly unimpressed when I have seen him.
HE is blessed with the genes but, unlike Sam and Luke, he is a bit fat (sorry; that is awful to say) and slow and doesn't seem as naturally devastating.

I am probably wrong though. I am sure he could be quite the same player as his siblings with more work done to reduce the timber and to increase the fundamentals of his game. Too much risk ATM for me. Especially when he will most likely be off to Sydney when he does shape up.

In any case. I seem to remeber Tony Smith saying that he is not interested in swooping on clubs in crisis, ala when Wakefield went to the wall last year. Something along the lines of "we would prefer to see how we can help, not hinder by taking players away". I doubt his stance will have changed.

Will we be able to quote this along with the Paul Gallen signing when this happens too?

I know it's a hypothetical thread but i'd rather people helped the Bulls in other ways rather than asset strip them.
