With the sunny weather here at last wouldn't it be great if the club had a picnic area/fanzone near the ground where families and fans could relax before the game?

The only problem is lack of land but surely we could find some space for a fanzone with a marquee and picnic area with food outlets and activies for the kids.

At the moment the pre match build up consists of a few beers in the pub (okay for my Crew!) but for families and kids there is nothing.

Good idea, but as you mentioned there really doesn't seem to be a spot that springs to mind with adequate room. Something based on the kids area at the Jungle would be great but can't see the Club being able to do anything, especially something which could snatch any business from Tesco.

Maybe your crew (possibly the Nazis, judging by your Avatar) could annex the trolley awning outside Tesco, "vor ze gud of ze verking klass ov ze Wazza"

Then you could walk up/down (whatever) Froghall Lane straight to the game in minutes. Get going on there, food, kids tag games, blah blah ... Let parents & kids rock up at say midday, two hours there - off to the game.

Not been on here much recently, probably luckily for my sanity - and the OP's continued posting ability. I had a quick look at the Myler and the Tory threads and that nearly got him banned. But I can't just ban people for being thick / deliberately annoying / bit of both.

I also like Tom Cruise however the continuos Nazi theme in his avatar is pathetic.

It's obviously to shock and awe, giving him or her an inflated sense of self worth/satisfaction when people react.

Internet forums are easy to do that on because you can create a character and live it out, regardless of whether you are capable of maintaining your moral's and ethics in the real world.

I think its particularly sad (I actually mean the emotion sad, not just the 'dissing' term) when people pretend to be celebrities on Facebook and Twitter. They must have nothing else in their life and value it less than the person they are trying to be.

That being said, Nazi's are an obvious choice that will rile people. If people feel the need to do it, i prefer the people who have the imagination and originality to choose something that is less obvious but just as shocking when other posters find out about the avatar.

What's the deal with the club using land around the stadium? We have 4 corners, 2 are being used for the forthcoming extension, one for sky if the game is televised, what about the other corner? Relocate the Hogie Wagon and get some plastic chairs from Tesco

Personally I think a fanzone at any ground would be quality. Blackburn Rovers have beer tents for away fans etc. this kind of thing would be really succesful in RL especially in summer months.

Why let the pubs around the ground make all the money before the match, the club could be selling twice as much beer.
