According to Lowes on Sporting Life, Chris Bridge may return this week against Hull.

With the news that Peacock is now out, is it worth taking extra care on Friday and maybe resting some big guns, even if this could sacrifice 2nd for 3rd place?

That will be a massive boost for us if he does.

Think that's Smithy's intention - Briers maybe?

I cant see us troubling you too much to be honest, being without Long and Horne was difficult enough, but with Tansey likely to be banned I cant see past a Warrington win.

A rest for the ones who missed out last year namely Woody and Clarke hopefully.

Clarke shouldn't need resting. The more game time the better for him I would think.

Here's a novelty - why not put out our strongest possible team v Hull & try to win by 40 or even more points, thus pressuring Saints for their match on Saturday & allowing our first team to hit the Final match fit & in form?

Because it doesn't seem to be Tony Smith's way. He wants to win both trophies and to do that, we need to make sure players are ok to play up until 2nd October. He might well play a full team but that's because he feels the players need to keep the intensity up before Wembley. He'll know if anyone needs a rest.

You see TANCW, I would rest Mozza and bring Cooper in, the last time he was rested was before the England game was it not? Cooper would be a decent replacement, who was outstanding at the weekend. I just think now that Burgess and Peacock are out, we can't afford to lose our best prop, therefore we can dominate in the forwards. Losing Morley is the equivalent of Leeds losing Peacock.

He can have the second half off after we've put 30 points on them in the first half.

Seriosuly though, I wouldn't take the gamble with Moz and bring in like for like in Cooper. That would be my team, I've rested Moz, Briers and Hicks...

Rest players so they can play in the final as were scared some may pick up injuries. Jesus if your worry about getting hurt, don't play ing rugby.

Rest them why ?? So they'll be fresh ?? If any player needs a week off to motivate them in a Challenge Cup Final then sack them now !

Get out the first team on Friday, give Hull a good ting in the last home league game, spell the players once the game is won & go to Wembley full of confidence in our own ability rather than celebrating who Leeds are doing without.
