He is trying to hard and it shown today but i think he will come good.. We can all agree we have warmed to Myler n Solomona so must be a little difficult for him but he has his all the right attributes to become a quality centre and i think he will have his best years in primrose and blue..

I see the scapegoat culture is alive and well still...We won the game Atkins made one pretty bad error but to say he was shocking is way OTT...

Not his best game and I'm sure Mr Smith will no doubt have something constructive to say to him so that he'll move on and be better for it.

As our starting 1 - 5 for me, Atkins or Cooper instead of Vanderson who has been pretty dire so far this year.

Didn't perform very well and hasn't done anything to impress me in the first four games but like some say he may need time, It's not like he's come from Australia and is well used to the SL game so we'll see again when were 12 games in.

bit of a shocker today but we all have off day he's not set us alight yet but it wasn't that long ago we wanted a certain mr monas on the next plane home hopefully the lad will have a turn around in fortunes hope he doesn't get dropped it won't do his confidence any good if he is dropped

hold my hands up there about monas,,i would av took him to the airport free of charge after the cas game at home last year but what a player this lad is...gladly proved me wrong(semi at widnes)..if atkins plays next week i bet he scores,,get to the bookies quick

will have to step up here to keep his place.

That is my take on things. Seemed to deviate from his natural game, moving away from what had worked for him in the first half.

He'd make a great winger.

We have waited a good while for a squad full of quality. Now that we have got one we are falling into the "namby pamby, can't do this can't that" garbage. If a player isn't cutting it then replace and make him work for the position thats the whole point of the squad system. Personally i like Atkins but if he isn't doing it on the pitch he takes one for the team. They all know the score "nothing less than 100% will cut it!

Some people just seem to have to find fault and knock someone, even when we're winning. Give the lad a chance, it's only 4 games into the season and he hasn't really done a lot wrong.

I was suprised when you signed him never mind paid money for him, he had a great first season at Wakefield, since then he has been very inconsistent, has good strenght, but defence is a problem and cant pass very well (reminds me of as not as good Kirk Yeaman, whose game is too limited to make a top centre).

I would have King, Grix (was impressed last year by him) and Bridge before Atkins.

How much did we pay wakey for Atkins?

I certainly dont think that Smith will drop one of his signings easily, maybe Atkins needs summer rugby to show his real qualities. Dropping him could destroy his confidence at this stage.

Hes been solid in the 1st three games making some good runs everytime he makes a run he usually makes good meters, he has a bad day at the office but that happens to most players, most people forgetting that he sent king in for his 2nd try and when he tried put riley in and threw it into touch he is probably used to having king right next to him where as riley was deeper
