If you can, set out some standards on there, and stick to them. It'll look better & feel better to the reader.

Ie, select a font, be it Verdana etc, and a standard font size. Then everything that you add to the site will have a consistency. Use a smaller version of your 'headings' font.

Looks good, fair play to you, I know you do produce the site off your own back, so to take the time out etc gets a thumbs up from me, good on you.

Maybe now, the site is cool, will be time to add some new features, regular stuff to it.

Yeah, I'm willing to give it a go. I've never in my life done anything like it before and god knows what will happen, but why the hell not.

You outline to me, what your after, content wise etc and I'll give it a go certainly.

Not really sure, I guess we just need to try it and see if a) you're happy doing it and b) people like reading it. I don't suppose it has to be weekly, just whenever you've got enough to write about. I dunno, just kind of jot things down every now and then, news, stories, funny things that have happened, your own experiences at games. Then when you've got enough material, compile it into an article. A sort of review of recent stuff and preview of what's coming up - in your own amusing style of course!

Looking at what other sites do we need some volunteers to do some of the following

Match Reports - I have written 5 and quite enjoyed doing it (although not sure if they are a good read or not) They don't have to be the same as the clubs or a newspapers as you are looking at it from a different point of view. I have tried to write it with an overview of what is going on at the club.

The beauty of using wordpress is that we can set anyone up as a contributor and give them access to add things so it doesn't have to be the same person all the time.

Does anyone fancy a go on Sunday????

Match Previews - Something that Neil used to do on Primrose and Blue which took a look at previous ties, who the stand out players where etc etc.

Again doesn't have to be the same person or a number of people could do different aspects of it and then put it all together.

Interviews - Not sure if the club would give us a go at this but what about putting some Questions to anyone at the club from the Cheif Exec to the kit man? Anyone interested in trying to set an interview up and doing it?

Away Days - A look at your day from when you leave home to getting back home afterwards, where you went, who you met, what went on, you could even talk a little about the game.

Any other ideas?

How about we/the club get a player to watch a game from the stands, ie the south/east/west to get to watch a game from the punters pov and therefore hopefully see how bloody frustrating it is to turn up an hour before ko, to stand the bloody queues to get over charged for a mars bar to watch our side. To gain an insight into the mind, [uof the fan[/u.

Obviously we need to place them in an area where there's not too many nobbers (tricky) and sort out they don't get hassled but y'know, that's for someone else to think about.

Orrrrrrrrr(as i've just remembered as i'm typing that rant eating my meatball subway) mr moran does this already, any chance of getting thoughts on the game from him for t'website, he doesn't do this/speak out anywhere else currently.

On a Thursday? Thursday is BMT day, surely.

The above is a great idea. Rauhihi is probably the best to do it on the basis that a) no one will start on him and b) he will be able to blend in gently.
