i agree with chrissyg1996, he hasnt been good, he has no skill when he plays, would much rather see a decent youngster be given a game like currie instead of mccarthy

Atkins must have picked up a knock as no need to rest players with the cup next week. No Williams either so looks like Monaghan back to the wing and Blythe at Centre.

Don't let McCarthy's beard fool you, it may make him look like an experienced 30 year old, but he's still only a youngster himself ( with plenty of potential talent )

I like Tyrone. He's very tough in the tackle and drives the ball in very well. He seems enthusiastic on the pitch as well, always available for the pass.

Mccarthy as been great when he as played for the wire this season , and to want a 17yr kid against a huge catalan pack is just crazy

Did you choose to ignore the piece of skill against Widnes when he drew the centre and winger then flicked a neat pass that Williams fluffed.

Also Mccarthy is hardly an ageing player, in his early twenties.

The problem for Tyke is he's a 2nd row, to get a starting berth he needs to shift either Benny Westwood or Trent Waterhouse and of those only Paul Gallen would shift Benny.
