It doesn't matter what your expectations are, as we'll all commiserate as one, or we'll party rather wildly as one.

Can only see a beating on Saturday. How bad a beating depends on the attitude of the players coach etc..if they cannot get motivated for Wembley then they should think of another career..I.ll be there with the thousands of others but another shambolic performance similar to Catalans Salford and Wigan and the club won't get another penny of my hard earned..

We do have a chance albeit fairly slim. But it's not zero.

Well my going in position for this game and indeed this week is were going to lose with only a 1% chance of a win.
I'm not excited in the least I'm afraid to say.
But what I DEMAND to see is my team play with passion and graft as if it were their last ever game.
THEN if we lose I'll know i could nor have asked for more from that 1 to 17 and they can all leave the field with their heads held high - rather than with witnessing that abject display last week.

I actually enjoyed the Saints match the week before that because we FOUGHT. The guys coming in CARED about the shirt. I knew we'd lose but what I wanted was a performance and at times we got that.

On the plus side I can’t see me being more deflated than after last year’s CC final.

Forget current form, it’s a 50/50 game if Wire play there best game of the season and Saints have an off day......you win.

As much as i don't like Warrington (in a rivalry and banter way of course) i will be sat there very much with a 'primrose and blue all the way' on Saturday. St Helens' fans attitude of already having it won would give them a right old kick on the spuds and then it's all systems Grand Final (which they have already won too)

JM, that just doesn't make any sense. Its 70/30 in Saints favour.

I'd say based on the quality of the two sides Saints should win. The league table isn't lying. But it wasn't last season and the best side often doesn't win the trophies due to only needing to lose a solitary game to mess up 9 months of superiority.

The only thing that is certain is that the duck will claim to be a genius. He'll either say I told you so, told you we'd win. Or he'll say that you'll batter us when they're all fit and proclaim he's had a vision of a Grand Final win.

Turn the clock back to the point everyone was in unity about a 2 horse race and nothing but a fag paper between Saints and Wire...and the point ahead of the one game everyone wanted to see.

Some of the stuff I've read. Utter bollox. These 2 teams will be switched on at their premium best...and the nearest to formline we had at that point was what I wrote in paragraph 2.

I agree, Warrington are in terrible form but if we win it won't be an upset on the scale of Sheffield Eagles 1998. More on the scale of Hull 2005 or Catalans 2018.

I think if you played this game 10 times in parallel universes Warrington would win 2, possibly 3.

I do want to wish all 17 who pull on a Wire shirt on Saturday all the very best - give it your best shot and win lose or draw I will be proud to be a Wire fan (but if you drift around and play like you've never been introduced to each other then I will be venting my spleen on here!)

You don’t know how lucky you are! Is it 6 Wembley appearances in 10 years? Most clubs fans would give their all for that! The best day out in the rugby calendar and you’re starring in it again!! Wow. Great point (11 years BTW). I'm a 'winning is all that matters' kind of guy but I do get an enormous sense of pride when my team's colours and badge are adorning Wembley.

I'm driving down and up, which I've never done before as I like enjoying the day with some bevvies. But if we win I'll be enjoying a night out in Warrington.

I expect us to lose but I expected us to win last year, and in 2016. You never know.
