I've only just been able to get online, but fair play to some of your fans. After leaving the game 5-6 different groups/individuals approached me and my friends. They either congratulated us or wished us good luck. No swearing, no bitterness. It's what our sport is all about , and hats off to you guys! Good luck for the rest of the season.

Most of the fans - even on these boards - are generally sporting, gracious in victory and defeat. Glad to hear of your positive experience, and hope it help shame the likes of WireWonder and others at both clubs who have no clue how to behave.

Unfortunately, every big game we've been involved with in my watching lifetime, has involved the "yeah, I'm Wire frew'n'frew (sic)" nob-ends we seem to attract. Then, lo and behold, when it's Wakefield at home the week after (or for any other run of the mill game), they're nowhere to be found.

Just as a point of interest, when I was at home, 19:30 ish, you could hear the tones of Police sirens going down Manchester Road, heading towards town. Was there any trouble when they let the Worriers out of the ground?

i seen a few scuffles outside the kings head , was just having a couple of pints to drown me sorrows with me son , then the scum starting hurling abuse

When i left the ground on the whistle, there were people on the front of the Rodney drinking half full pints (suggesting they'd been there a bit) discussing and weighing up if they should go the Kings head and wait for the Wigan fans (if any of you are reading this grow the f--- up) i would have reported this to the police but there were plenty of them already around the station. These were not kids either but 40 year old blokes.

To think, these pr1cks probably have kids of their own (maybe even grandkids), who'll "look up to" dad, as some kind of role model.

Speaking to a mate of mine yesterday (who's in the Martin Dawes stand) who told be the beer chuckers were out in force again......

Met a group of 4 wigan lads in chicago rock after the game, had a good laugh with them and even had an unofficial wigan v wire comp on the punchball. Didnt see any trouble whatsoever.

Had a woman of around 45 - 50 launch a half full pint pot over my head. Nearly threw her after it. Stewards kicked her out anyway.

I was in the Kings Head before and after the game like every home match and watched the morons outside we inside could not believe that they tried to pick on several wigan fans who were walking past who they were I dont know as they dont go in the KH and hadnt been in the place they dont go to games that I know of and it just seemed that they have gone to town to kick-off what amazes me is that the law know trouble goes on there after every wigan game so why the hell are they not stationed there just before the end of the game and not turn up 30 mins after when its going off.

Some people need to get a grip. I don't like spending too much time in Warrington, but me and my mate had a pint outside the Railway Club after the match while we waited for our train to Manchester and saw what was going on outside the Kings Head at that time.

Personally I've got no interest in sucking up to Wigan fans "Glad you had a good experience blah blah blah family game yawn" - I couldn't care less if they did or not, but as their team dumped mine out the Cup I'd wager their day was better than mine was.

Some people need to get over themselves though - considering running to the bizzies to cry about a conversation overheard outside a boozer?! Jesus wept.

About 15 wigan fans in the Rock when I got in there, singing a variety of songs rather loudly(including y warrington). I'd be surprised if one of them didn't get a dig. Sorry, they just get hit for doing nothing...my bad.

To be fair it's been reported in todays League Weekly that there were three separate attacks on Wigan fans after the match, a reporter from the paper was apparently walking back and witnessed them.

There were quite a bit of trouble in the Blue Bell. Don't know exactly what happened but the jist of it is that there was a huge kick off, dunno is it was opposing fans or just us lot fighting each other but the police all showed up and raided it, then closed it.

I'd love to be proved wrong but the Wolfs just refuse to let you down. It's a sorry state of affairs.
