It was like a training game for the England side. They needed tougher opposition coming into a test series. I think we played well and looked together and like a team.

But the kiwis won't be as soft as France. We have a chance in this series not favourites but this team has best opportunity of winning a test series for as long as I can remember...

If the England to team can be competitive against NZ or even win the series it could be a welcome boost for RL considering the Brylcreem Boys failed to deliver & all 3 games are on free to air tv.

Hell Brylcreem, that's going back a bit, surely they still don't make it anymore ? Anyway I quite agree we desperately need a strong, well attended international scene to bring in the money and attract bigger audiences. Cricket is only alive over here because of the internationals and the TV money it brings in - how many people watch County cricket ? And I think this series will be a success. I heard a couple of weeks ago that the London match had sold 30,000 and the other two 15,000 - lets hope we get plenty of good PR, lots of species, and a tight series won by England.
