Been watching Wire since 1970s and I have seen some poor sides far worse than the present team. I have never booed the team and never will, just my opinion but my view is you should always get behind your team especially having so many youngsters in the side.

It will not do their confidence much good if their home fans boo them, there are other ways to show your displeasure don't buy season ticket, email the club but not boo your home team

Sadly, this present side aren't really under-performing, they are just a poor side (when compared to teams of recent years).

Any vocal protest should be aimed at those a bit higher than those on the field - I'd be more inclined to criticise or, at least, question those in charge of recruitment and coaching and I'm not sure doing it in a stadium filled with disgruntled punters, would be the best place to air those concerns, especially if we are looking to keep up the confidence of younger members of the squad.

This is a highly effective way of letting your feelings be known, as well as being very funny. I have experience in such matters.

If we get "a whooping" then too right there should be booing, i dont agree with the people that boo every time we lose but if it gets to a point where we are being beat at relegation favourites and then at home to Catalans then it doesn't make you a glory hunter or a bad fan for booing the team. Tonight could be an interesting night for all the wrong reasons.
