Undoubtedly a great list Fez but throw in Parry Gordon, Bob Eccles and Tommy Martyn and the selction has been neatly steered towards the greatest Wire select from personal viewing (too young for the 50's team) and away from the Kelly's Heroes concept? |

I plead guilty m'lord.
Saw Parry Gordon a few times when I was very young and Bob Eccles also but don't remember seeing Tommy Martyn.
One guy that I thought long and hard about including was Allan Rathbone - purely based on what comments have been made on this site, but again I can't remember seeing him play.
