Quote ="the flying biscuit"That's a bold quote fella .........
The last time i sat in the kop the players came out to us all singing along to a record played over the pa
Normally i don't do artificial PA music but it was such a catchy tune i couldn't help myself
Now let me look at your other post talking about irony
'"
I did specify PA music [iafter[/i tries like. I didn't say anything about PA music before the match, which doesn't bother me in the slightest...
Being serious though, surely anyone would agree that the celebrations after our tries on Friday night were far better than they normally are at home games. Of course I appreciate that it was a bigger game than most but still, the fact that Saints obviously didn't greet our scores with some tedious music meant undiluted celebration was possible, rather than loads suddenly reverting to some cringeworthy "We all hate Widnes" (who we haven't even played against competitively for six years) to the Tom Hark tune.
In moments like that, unforced passion is so much better than basically doing as you're told by the PA. It doesn't bother me much at home games as I never sing at them anyway, but it had a massive negative effect on the atrmosphere at our recent CC semis and finals in my opinion.
