this year we have chris hicks,vinne anderson,richie mathers all good players all played and won challenge cups all going on to NRL and SL clubs, what a change a few short years can make.Normally when done with the wire it is off to a lessor club and before that into retirement with the injury they had before they signed for the wire. Image letting anderson. hicks and mathers go in our anderson nightmare period this may feel odd but it is a sign we are serious at becoming the number one club in super league ,feels ruthless i agree but a determination to be number one often does.

And thats just in the NSW Cup.

Looking forward to the youngsters getting a chance next year too. Both Evans boys, Rhys Williams, Gareth O'Brien, Craig Harvey all have the ability to step up to SL level.

I think the youngsters may play quite a big role in next season, a few injuries and they will be thrust into action. Would like to see Gaz O'Brien in these friendlies coming up, see if he's the real deal!

I don't think this is a really relevant thread but your captain has been named in an NRL team of the decade he features on the bench which is a massive achievement in my eyes they must regard Morley highly down under.

the best thing is, i was trawling the penrith website the other day just out of interest, and their is no mention of him signing for them, which shows how happy they are to have made the signing if you ask me!
