Based on what I've read on here about it last year and now these delayed departure times, "Wire Flyer" is really starting to sound like the most ironic name I've heard in a while!
Luckily my 6.55am Pendalino arrives in Euston two minutes after the above rattler leaves Bank Quay so I'm all right Jack. Hope you lot make it!
I thought the Wire Flyer was spot on, i'll certainly use it again if we get back to wembley. The only real problem was the jobsworths that worked at Wembley station on the way back where they kept the fans penned into a barrier area outside the station for well over an hour whilst it persisted it down at times.
It was a great atmosphere on the train, it was suprisingly quick coming back as well even with the detour around Manchester as i managed to get back for the Sky highlights of the challenge cup which started at 11.
