Didn't do us too much harm last year when we were singing it from the fifth round.

They did a good roar when they scored on Friday night but other than that it wasn't a great atmosphere from them I didn't think, mind you, maybe our end sounded similar to them from the other stands and it was definitely a cracking atmosphere on the night in our end.

You've made the classic error of taking songs sang at sporting occasions to be absolute statements of fact and/or 100% representative of the views of those singing them. I imagine that the majority of those singing those songs did so a) out of jest b) to wind Wigan fans up and c) with a degree of doubt about the result of the upcoming Carneige Challenge Cup Semi Final clash. Just to reassure you on some other songs that were sung:-

- Richie Myler is not 'the only man from widnes with a full time job'
- Wigan RLFC did NOT go to Rome, nor did they see the Pope and, to my knowledge, he did not tell them to f off
