Quote ="Matt King's Barber"It sounds like a perfectly sensible comment to me.
When parking in a city which once saw a coach load of supporters get bricked, surely it is a good idea to park somewhere official (which no doubt is covered by CCTV and security personnel). Especially if you are driving a nice car, have children or old people on board or other such factors.
If someone said to me "Yo I'm coming to watch a match at the Halliwell Jones any parking advice?"
I would recommend they use the official car park. I am a proud Warringtonian and have no problem with the area around the stadium, but better safe than sorry, especially when a two hour car drive away from home.'"
No, he was correct, Ganson's Optician was childish.
Anyway, I've given travel advice elsewhere on threads and via the PM service to other Warrington supporters.
The Park and Ride service is spot on and the car park is covered by CCTV. The buses are regular and available after the game outside the park where the stadium is situated.
