Quote Simon Grix, Paul Wood, Mickey Higham, Ben Harrison, Chris Hicks, Lee Briers, Matt King and Michael Monaghan were recently presented with their NVQ certificates.
Club Chairman Steven Broomhead congratulated the eight players for their success in achieving an NVQ Level 2 Instructing Exercise and Fitness Gym Based Exercise.
The players completed a nine-week course covering five separate units, both practical and written.
Lynn Bates, Warrington Wolves HR Manager, said: "The club regards it as vital to give players as many opportunities to gain qualifications and experience to stand them in good stead for their careers after Rugby League."
Mickey Higham is looking to pursue a career in sport potentially the teaching side so jumped at the chance in gaining this qualification whilst it was on offer.
"I've been in sport a long time and the fitness and teaching side has always interested me. Gaining this qualification whilst I'm still playing will be really useful and I'll look into completing higher levels to enable me to lead on to other things."
Steven Broomhead, Wolves Chairman, reiterated these points. "It is good to see that so many of our players are looking ahead to their careers after rugby league. The club happily supports any player who would like to invest in their future by gaining qualifications."

Big well done to the guys. I really think it is excellent that our players are doing things like this, and that the club is supporting them. Being a professional athlete is a short career and players do need to plan for the future. Well done all round!
