| What i was really getting at is i want the board to be more proactive especially SM, he has put a lot off wonga into Warrington but on the face of it seems not to do a lot about whats happened, its not just the current situation but the never ending inept performances over the years, thats what most of the fans are sick to death off....been watching them a long long time and i have nearly had my fill of them

What im saying is true, Ive never said he's bad for the club like some people are thinking, he could however run it better seen as he has a lot of power to do so.

| I'm not sure what else he can do other than sign the members of staff the coach wants. We lost Stridgeon so now we have Halmshaw who I'm sure was Jimmy's choice, and we have Nigel Wright, again, I'm guessing he was Jimmy's choice.
We have recently brought in John Bastian to the academy and he will be a massive part of this club's future. If word on the street is to be believed, we'll have Tony Smith as our head coach next year, and he'll probably bring in his own set of staff, who I'm sure, if needs be, Simon will probably back to bring in whatever coach he desires, and if we do let a few players go, then he'll probably back him to bring in a lot of players.

| There is a germ of an argument in this. It could be argued that Simon Moran, as a fan, does not see what an emotionally unattached business man or woman would see. However, the ludicrous and contradictory statements made in this thread and then the denials that any such statements have been made reduce the argument to a farcical one.

| If he did get involved more in the level suggested he'd only be accused by some of interfering, especially if results still didn't go our way. He's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't in certain quarters.

| I think it's time to lock this. We've had:
-Ludicrous criticism of a "proper fan" - I don't like that sort of term normally, but Simon Moran's comitment to the club is surely undoubted, he's put his money where his mouth could be (in more ways than are public knowledge) for no personal gain other than he wants the club to succeed because he is a fan.
-Ill thought out, inaccurate claptrap.
-Personal insults and arguing.
So, not getting anyone anywhere.
