There will be bulk retail on the far left of the site near the motorway bridge. There will also be two community sports pitches (One G4 artificial) and a stadium car park for 600 vehicles. There will also be large community office facilities and a 600 seater function room within the main stand. Access to and from the M60 will be part of the future WIGIS road scheme. Initial access to the stadium will be via the A57.

I noticed that Saints stadium is being built by BAM, they built our new college, opened in September and still here sorting put problems, there is now a leak from the roof. great builders

that fly through clearly shows stantions coming down into the spectator area in the three smaller stands. Does this mean you'll have your view impared if you're stood behind them? Is this on purpose to give the ground that retro feel

Clearly it shows the "stantions" to be coming down behind the spectators so that your view is not impaired like it is in parts of the shed.

Is it just me but if you look on the webcam does the construction look lopsided?

The stantions are behind the spectator viewing areas as shown below. Not sure though about the dark red seats on one side and light red seats on the other.

Steel work starts which is great news for the club

Just had a nosey at the webcam and it appears there are two HGV's delivering more steel and another crane. Should see a lot more progress this week.

Is there any chance of Barton Flyer getting up in the air again with his box brownie any time soon?

Hopefully after next weekend aerial activities should be resumed!
