Here's the plan, sell your ground for housing whilst asking the City Council to build you a new one. Hey don't worry if the crowds don't turn up day one the Council will bail you out after all it is important that a Club with a rich heritage like the Lions survive, especially as they are so close to Manchester geographically.

I don't know about Swinton's "refugee" status at Leigh but presume they pay their way, so hardly a typical refugee?

The irony of your passionate defence of Swinton is that your clubs abuse of the dual reg system with the lions has seen long standing fans stop attending, at a time when they (like most clubs) need all the fans they can get.

The real irony is that Warrington were reportedly one of a very small number of SL Clubs that wanted to retain the academy system, this state of affairs is not entirely of our doing. I don't know how the DR system works in a finite sense, but, it does seem a farce the way it operates, where we can have a come back match for player A, or a DR player B can be loaned to another Club. Maybe that's one thing that we will personally agree on?

I would like to know whether the attendance figures really plumeted post DR and if so because of DR rather than a general trend and the Lion's playing at Leigh and are there no percieved benefits as far as Swinton are concerned?

OK, let's put this in plain English for you.

Two sentences in that article mention the words "cash cow". Firstly, the headline:

"Marwan Koukash shouldn’t be treated as the cash cow for the sport"

Secondly, the final sentence in that article:

"It’s not that he is being short-changed, it’s more a case of him being seen as a cash cow in the eyes of people who should be supporting, not sponging."

Neither of those two sentences say, nor mean the same thing as, "Marwan Koukash is a cash cow for Salford and rugby league." To suggest otherwise is to suggest that the English language has been completely misunderstood for hundreds of years.

I make it four coaches in Wane, Cummins, Anderson, and now Powell that have made negative public comments about Dr Koukash. I question if this is a wise thing to do and in the spirit of the game?

Be fair, koucash has come in like a bull in a china shop, ruffling feathers all over the shop. I like him and glad he's involved with the sport, but can't really say I'm surprised that the coaches aren't especially happy with him.

I would imagine most other coaches will find Salford's quest for instant success (and a top 4 squad) disruptive to their own match preparations. How Rangi can sleep on a night thinking about hitting the jackpot next season is beyond me.
