So he's gone from saying he knows to now saying that he's been told. Seams to me like an attempt to save face when it doesn't happen. Hope im wrong though.

If we have indeed signed Sinfield I will be very impressed as he is a player I've always admirred, the only caviat I would place on it is if he is being cut by Leeds because he is shot?, he still regularly cuts it in a top 4 team week in week out and frankly can't see why he would come to Salford. Then the statement that he is coming for a year then off to London has got to be wide of the mark as a player of his age wouldn't be offered that kind of deal so far in advance.

I think he is a ready made 2nd hooker and loose forward cover all rolled into one and he is without doubt one of the best kickers in the league.
