| Well said DEVILS2015. I sit in the West stand and my match day experience is good. I park at the airport and there is never an issue getting off their car park, although I do have a 20 minute stroll door to door and apart from Friday night's torrential rain that is normally quite pleasant.

| Quote ="DEVILS2015"I can't be the only person on this forum that is sick the death of the constant moaning from Salford supporters about the Stadium.
The only thing I can agree with is that the carpark is an absolute joke to get out of after games. Some of you may have seen today that the new road will be completed by Spring 2016 (More info on AJ Bell Website). To my understanding that will increase the ways to get out of the Stadium by 4-fold and therefore problem solved.
I think we have to look at the current situation at Salford as a 5 year plan. We were having a fantastic season before all these injuries and suspensions came along and we would still be in the top 4 if it wasn't for our misfortunes. We will get stronger and stronger as years go by and the foundations get put into place. The area around the stadium will have a completely different feel to it in the next 2/3 years too.
I personally believe the main issue with the stadium is the lack of atmosphere at Home games and this is something where us the fans can make a huge difference. I urge all die-hard supporters to move into the East stand for the Warrington game and together we can recreate The Shed. Rugby League is such a better game viewed from the sides and we could also have some banter with the away supporters too.
If we keep doing what we are doing we are going to keep getting what we are getting!'"
Spot on post.

All you need for a good atmosphere is a decent collection of like minded individuals who want to get a few songs going. The stand should be irrelevant although it provides a convenient excuse.
Will be interesting to see if this happens although there seems to be a lack of organisation to it all.

Sorry. It is better than the Weaste stadium. It allows me to sit in comfort and support the coffers of Peel Holdings. It doesn't have rust (just a slight aroma from Davyhulme). I like looking at the Sale Sharks posters. And finding the hide and seek shop. It is most conveniently situated for the Brookhouse estate. The train station at Patricroft is only a gentle stroll away ([size=85and away and away[/size). A really good part of the day out is the ability to read a large book on the buses going to and from the ground to Manchester. Oh, to boast of being away from my home in Rochdale for 80 minutes' rugby in 7 1/2 hours of absence.
Apologies.

| SADLY 1 hour was IN Rochdale: walking to and from the station and sitting on a replacement bus whilst the driver worked out his route.
Middleman: I never met any Middletonian who said they lived in or near Rochdale.

| I ended up on the Salford email list a couple of years ago after buying tickets for the first Saints game at the Stadium. For a while I was sent a few, maybe weekly, email about upcoming games etc... I can't remember the last time I was sent one.
They don't know I am a Saints fan - all they know is that I have bought tickets for a Salford game at the AJ Bell Stadium, so I should be a prime target for their marketing efforts really.

Don't feel too hard done, I've been a season ticket holder for years and to date have never received an email, and as I don't do faceless book ter or instantgram I only rely on my forty plus years support to keep myself updated.
I personally don't bother about the crowd anymore as has been said many times thirty odd years of false dawns has put many off not to mention our electric fire in a bath relationship with games on TV (well they don't go well do they) ?
Once we try that magic formula called success things might change until then leave it out. Recently Cronulla Sharks had something like two and a half thousand at one of their home matches in torrential rain and rather than slating the fans the Tv commentry was full of admiration for the hardy souls who made the effort to go to the match.

| The Clubs email policy has always been poor. I've received emails sporadically over the years and have not had one since MK took over. This is compounded by the fact that I have actually phoned the Club and asked to be put on it, which they assured me they would.
Still no emails.
I doubted that the poor state of the email system could get any worse than when the previous administration were in, however I've been made to eat my words.

| Occassional emails, but they seem to have dried up recently. As a ST holder, not good.
I'm really interested to know what the outcome of the £5 per ticket Warrington offer will be. I passed the details to my brother, who will be going to the stadium to buy tickets for himself and his 12 y/o son for their first visit to the AJ Bell. In fact, it will my nephews first time at a rugby league match. They live in Eccles, and are prime target market. I've asked him to let me know if the stadium are recording contact details, email addresses, phone numbers, etc. Some how, I'm sure this marketing opportunity will be missed.

Well that maybe the case on their own statistics. However, in general, email is still the most effective (or rather has the highest return on investment) than any other type of online marketing, and by some distance.

Well, shock horror! Just had a message from my brother: he went to the AJ Bell stadium today for the tickets. He actually got 4, as I asked him to pick up 1 for my dad, and 1 for my daughter who's back from Uni. He went went into reception, and they told him to go back to the ticket office, shout through the window, and someone would come out to deal with him. He did this, and someone came along to serve him. 4 tickets requested, paid cash, not one question and no contact details asked for. An absolute disgrace! The investment that Dr Koukash has put into the rugby club, both in terms of money and time, only to be let down by incompetence on a grand scale just amazes me! With such a huge promotion as £5 adult tickets / kids free, the stadium management company and ticket office staff must surely have been tasked with closing the loop on contact details. Such a basic thing, and probably the most important aspect of the whole promotion.
