| NT - Should there be a clause in the contract that his move is subject to a Visa then Cas will be in a tricky position financially as they have contracted Dorn, Lynch & Gibson already and they will need `Golden Hellos` no doubt. Would you agree?

I think it's difficult to speculate on club contracts.
The deal between Cas and Salford may be dependent on a successful Visa application, however it might not be if Koukash was so convinced Chase would get one! That would leave Salford in the position of having paid a fee for a player who can't play, probably cutting their losses and letting him move to the NRL (or Catalans?), or agreeing to allow Chase to re-join Cas and be 'refunded' the fee.
I don't think the Chase money has gone on the players already signed to be honest. Those three players won't be on much more than the other players we are releasing (Mason in particular, Walker, Thompson). As for 'golden hellos', these don't really exist anymore due to the way the salary cap works (the whole contract, including any signing-on fee, is divided by the number of years to make an average salary in order to stop clubs (Wigan) "backloading" contracts).
However, it would be a tricky situation and probably not good for anyone, including Cas who will lose Chase for nothing when his current Visa expires!

To be honest I think it's a reasonable debate. Whatever happens, his wife and family are certainly not going to be facing poverty and destitution regardless of the outcome. Everyone knows there is an issue, there is no harm in discussing it in my opinion.
And you really can't blame me after some of the comments aimed my way when it is proven that I've not been talking rubbish (as some have suggested).

Have you got factual evidence that there's a problem with Chase's Visa renewal? If you have please share? If not stop speculating!

No, there isn't.
My point was that many people said his Visa was sorted (and slated me for suggesting it might not be). And there is factual evidence that it isn't.

I don't remember anyone saying it was 100% sorted? Maybe it would be? And I'm not being funny I'm sure with Koukash being an ex refugee himself he'd have the best solicitors for this type of thing, otherwise we just wouldn't of signed him like Pearson at Hull didn't.

Koukash has been on the radio himself claiming that as Rangi Chase plays for England and has and English wife he doesn't need a Visa! Based on this, I'd suggest he has consulted nobody at all (as it's so wrong it can't have come from anyone with any knowledge!).
Remember that you are no further along the road than Pearson and Hull FC were. They agreed a fee with Cas and terms with Chase, just have Salford have done. It's only when the Visa application is made that the problems begin (if there are any).

It's not wrongful to say that Chase MIGHT get a Visa though, however small the chances are.

But I thought Chase declined a Visa renewal for Hull and opted to see out his then current one with Cas hense staying on with the Tigers? He's already applied for a new Visa this time and is waiting for the procedure to run its course. Nothing ever happens as quick as you want it too with Visa's.

No, a new Visa was applied for and rejected. Hull FC decided that an appeal would be drawn out, expensive and likely to fail.
Visas are actually quicker to obtain. 90% of decisions are made within 3 weeks from the date of application.

Why didn't Adam Pearson think of that ? Can't believe all those "high-ranking London lawyers" did'nt go down that route and hull FC spent a wad of cash trying to prove it.

Nobody said Chase "might" get a Visa, it was completely hypothetical (I thought that was clear).
Been honest it's all speculation, isn't it?
My point was that (and I quoted an example) some self-proclaimed "in the know" posters were certain that a Visa had already been issued and it was in place (whilst at the same time slating me for suggesting otherwise). It turns out the Visa clearly isn't in place. That isn't speculation.

It really is becoming annoying you constantly popping up on here proffering forth your wisdom, genuine as it may be surely your time would be better spent using your talents elsewhere or at the very least trying to help the educationally subnormal types from Castleford we have experienced on here in the recent past.

The initial decision will be made within 3 weeks.
It's not unknown, however, for a decision to be made within 5 days. 3 weeks is the maximun time period.
If the application was made this time last week the initial decision could have been made.

Yes I see what your saying but when Hull applied for Chase's Visa he had a blemish on it with the assault charge, that is now spent as far as I was aware so there is nothing stopping a renewal? Not really, my wife has stolen the TV remote to watch The Strictly Great British Baking X-Factor Every Minute thingy on the TV. Anything is more entertaining.
Helping the educationally subnormal types from Castleford is a job for someone like Dumbledore I'm afraid. I prefer education the Salford public about employment law.

Unfortunately not. The conviction that Chase has is spent after 10 years from the date of conviction. Chase has 8 years before it's spent, and this has been my point throughout this whole saga.
Been married to a British national and having a British child means zip. Last year a British Soldier with an English wife and 2 children was refused due to a military court conviction for a minor skirmish. With a conviction for a violent offence, Chase has less chance.
