| The question in plain English an invester would want to take on as little debt as possible and would show it's serious buy putting an offer in so why would an invester let you sell Marty smith if the invester was interested why would he or them stand by and let club take a fall on players. Why would a new so called owner let players that played well for us let a club sell them. Would not want to completely rebuild and sell players that did good job for us so why wait and take on more debt? And if a deal was done why not just come out and say it tells me it's not concrete and in stone so like I say believe it when it's announced.

| Why if you were keen on buying a club would you wait till end of year where you could take on more debt if you were that intrested? You would also show your hand to prove intrest by helping club keep old of Marty smith and maybe we might have made play offs knowing a bigger income from playoff rugby would bring in to had to your investment don't know why that should be alien I am trying to say would prove intrest ands might have helped as an healthier business proposition for new owners that would make sense business wise and would impress disgruntled supporters would it or would it not

miles off! John Whittakers first 'business' was Bury based Peel Mills, which was historically owned by the famous Bury based Peel family (which includes Robert Peel - ex Prime Minister and founder of the police force). As business interests expanded - they were all called 'Peel'.

| Investors may not have decided to come on board before Matty smith decided to leave which was a while before he actually did - hopefully it will be announced in the next few weeks then phil can go on building a team Who want to play for the shirt next year - peel would be could because of the money but who would they put in charge of running the club because the current set up is not working hopefully it's someone who shares JW passion for the club and just isn't buying us to make any money possible by selling every right to sale - I fear that this whole Leigh thing has brought a backlash with fans and hopefully has not put any potential investors off !!

Why would anyone from gods county feel the need to go to bury? There's plenty of far more interesting towns over this side of the Pennines! When I do feel the inclination to don my waterproof and head over the hills, Manchester tends to grab my attention rather than Oldham, burnley, widnes or any of the other "charming" towns you have over there.
Try coming to Harrogate or York if you feel the new for a culture fix

York, famous for being invaded by Scandinavians and Harrogate, famous for, erm? Fair enough, I should visit Harrogate. I'm sure I'll feel culturally enriched.

he didn't.
as the Peel Group website explains (see www.peel.co.uk/aboutus/history-and-vision). the name is taken from Peel Mills, the Bury based business he took on some time ago that was owned historically by the family of Robert Peel.
anyway, enough of the history lesson.

| I think I've read somewhere lately that John Wilkinson has a 5 year plan to take us Reds to the next level ( Eddie Hemings also mentioned it in commentary today too).
So realistically speaking does he really want to sell up or does he solely want an investor just to throw money at his baby.....
A five year plan eh......Another whopping pork pie to blag the socks of the superleague franchise system.... Hilarious

Eddie actually referred to a 3 year plan in commentary. I, myself was staggered when I heard this, as I could not comprehend how even the brainpower and acumen we have at Salford could have shaved 2 years off, what will be a clearly a well thought out plan since yesterday. It was obvious to me early that the plan would have covered all possible angles, and have built in multiple contingences to cover things like imminent bankruptcy down to a granular level such as the milkman petioning the High Court in London for unpaid bills.
Upon further relection since the end of the game, I feel Eddie must be mistaken. Mr. Hemmings is usually such a well informed journalist too, but to believe Salford would be challenging for honors in 3 years seems foolhardy, 5 years is a far more credible and believeable figure.

| Unless JW has a multi millionaire willing to put money in then any 3yr or 5 yr plan is pie in the sky.
We are in the $hit big style.
Only good news from this year is that two of the biggest gob$hites to ever pull on the famous red shirt are leaving.
