did they play poor K.O.T.S or was it just one of thoese days?

I didn't go mate, I was watching our reserves against Widnes (Albeit only one half of it!) but to be honest Mossley have won 4 of the opening 5 and are 2nd in the league so I'd suppoe it's to be expected.

City are find the step up to the Unibond league quite difficult atthe moment.
I`ve been to 2 games so far , Warrington away and Skelmerdale at home both 1 - 0 defeats ands tbh they wer`nt to far away but two 4-0 defeats show what Salford are up against.
They nicked a win away at Lancaster in the cup so tthere is hope of better things to come.

A mate of mine plays for Mossley and played the full game yesterday. From what he's been saying, the atmosphere in the Mossley camp is second to none... they are playing well and confidence is high... with that in mind, I didn't hold out much hope for Salford yesterday as this is a tough league to play in at the best of times.

You only have to look at Trafford, who walked the North West Counties League last season; they haven't started much better than the Ammies.

the Ammies were well beat, no excuses Mossley were better in all departments and looked like they will be up there at the end of the season, we however have a lot of work to do but I reckon we could sneak it and stay up.

Draw would've been a fairer result. To be two goals down twice and get back to 3-3, only to concede whilst pushing for a winner and then to also hit the bar right at the end was a bit of a killer.

Nice to see the scousers were as welcoming as ever, too.

Dear me, can't even beat the Wireless

The prospect of a relegation battle this season is becoming quite appealing.

They were suppose to be playing last Wednesday but the game was postponed due to Oldham town playing in an FA Cup replay. There last game was a 2-2 draw at home against Darwen on 30th August. Next game is on Saturday away to Holker Old Boys.

Should beat a team of veterans/codgers

FCUM lost 4-3 to Nantwich tonight in what was a really entertaining game at Gigg Lane.
