Oh, please beware that it's probably a poor idea to compare him with Jarryd Hayne who may well be on fire for the 2nd week running. He was awesome against Penrith last week!

If he's really worth the money at least we've got something to be excited about. Probably the most high profile signing since Micheal Hancock/Martin Offiah. If we can afford or tempt another couple maybe some fans would start to come back.

Would be glad if we have got Pattern and maybe Cross, but dont want Vinnie Anderson as he has apparently turned us down as he wanted a more exclusive deal, well he can p**s off the fat t**t,

Just read the article in the MEN about Pattern and to say it is toe curling would be an understatement. How does he get it to need fishing references??

And he says we have put all our eggs in one basket to try and get Pattern yet we clearly havent as we are trying for another 1 or maybe 2 decent signings from the NRL.

What channel are the NRL matches on? And seriously if the Sun said we've got Pattern after Cross and Anderson, the chances are we're not getting Pattern and we haven't sniffed at Cross or Anderson, never believe the Sun.

Excellent news may attract other big name player. Special mention for Fitzpatrick to with all talk about patten and other fullbacks coming to the club he's seemingly still giving is all and being a real pro about things(bulls last week) and giving his all for the club.

Signings such as Patten are neccessary if we are to have any chance of keeping players such as Broughton at the club long term. I can see the clubs strategy of gaining momentum in the last year at the Willows and hoping that the new stadium effect can get the club moving forward on and off the pitch.



Wesser is out of contract and yet to sign an extension at Souths so he could have been a potential target. I like watching Wesser as hes a very talented and dynamic full back. Patten is stronger defensively and a solid full back and will be a very good signing.

Sydney Morning Herald states we are also in for Pattens team mate Ryan Tandy. I would be surprised if that happens after years of playing lower league rugby at Whitehaven, Doncaster & Barrow he has worked hard to get to first grade in his homeland.

Well spotted and posted fella.
The dogs fans seem to think an awful lot of Tandy, and seem to fear that he is also heading to Salford.
I watched him the other morning, and despite his side being 28-0 down at h/t he did seem very keen, both tackling and attacking.
