Good to see FC run up a big score vs whipping boys Durham City.

Won 2-1.

Well, we made up for the damp squib at Durham by leathering Nantwich 6-1 at their own gaff on Saturday. Superb performance - well, what you could see through the fog, anyhow.

Barnolswick Town FC 1 - 1 Irlam FC [Silent Night Stadium
Irlam took a point at Barnoldswick town to hang on to 4th place. Decent game from arguably the best two actual footballing sides in the league.

Next up for Irlam is the 1st Division Trophy Quarter Final at home to Cheadle Town on Saturday followed by the League Cup 3rd Round tie against Premier Division side Bootle FC, also at home.

Nantwich 1 FC Utd 6 on Saturday. No idea where that came from. Kyle Wilson hat trick.



Salford City 1 Ossett 2 last night. Decent game however I'm not quite sure how Salford managed to lose.

FC at home on Saturday vs Worksop. First Saturday home game since December 12th.

From what limited views the highlights showed, FC played well. Good to see they've started to climb the table again too.

Well this has been ignored recently, hasn't it?



FC have had a bit of a mixed back of results, 3 losses on the bounce including Durham City's first points of the season

had everyone a bit down, but we've improved greatly and recorded a 2-0 win at home to Mick Hucknall Town on Saturday. Should've been more. We're currently sitting in 10th place.

Salford City lost 4-3 at Bamber Bridge on Saturday and are down in 19th in the NPL Division 1 North.

Irlam are currently 7th in the North West Counties Division 1, they lost 3-1 at home to Holker Old Boys on Saturday.

FC lost 5-1 to millionaire owned Bradford Park Avenue last night, but no one gives a f**K because this morning the club have announced the proposed location of FC's new ground - Ten Acres Lane, Newton Heath.

Salford City make it 7 wins in a row taking them up to 11th spot in Unibond First Division North after a 1 - 0 away win at AFC Fylde

Whilst Salford are on the up, FC Utd have only won 1 out of the last 11. Got beat 4-1 at Boston yesterday.

Irlam FC started yesterday in 3rd place of the NWCFL Division 1 but, after losing 2-0 away to 2nd placed Stone Dominoes, finished the day in 6th. Next up are league leaders Barnoldswick Town at home on Tuesday night.

It doesn't matter how it happened, but result from last night was Leigh 2 Salford 1, first time I've seen a Leigh side beat won from Salford since the Challenge Cup in 2001

Salford City FC have confirmed that their management duo next season will be Darren Quick and Mark Molyneaux.( old news I know to some)
Also, Moor Lane ground was used to shoot a video for Shuttleworth`s World Cup Song Englands Heartbeat.

Just to keep the thread going, just 2 days short of a year,

tomorrow Saturday 24th July Salford City entertain Welsh league side Llandudno Town at Moor Lane kick off is 3.00 pm in their first friendly of the season

Most of last seasons squad have stayed on from what I`ve read. , should be interesting to see any new additions having a run out.
