I have a gut feeling it could be Thomas Leuluai when I read the NZW clue on twitter. He pulled out of their trip to Melbourne Storm this week and he does have a connection to Harris and the ex Wigan boys. If rumours are true about two players leaving and one of them is believed to be Tim Smith, it does stack up.

Harris will obviously want to put his mark on the team and I'm sure he would prefer to go with players he knows inside out.

I suppose there is nothing stopping a club paying the player a small living allowance only this year and then making it up over the duration of the contract.

At the start of the season we were still on the look out for an outside back, which implies we were slightly under the salary cap. Since then, Jordan Davies has been released and a bunch of players have gone out on season long loans. I guess this must mean there's quite a bit of room under the cap now.

I don't think it's forwards we need, it's outside backs. If it was Joel Tomkins, it would surely be as a centre.

Mullaney has possible been our best player going forward so i will be gutted if its him. His kicking been bad though but not the worst ive ever seen. Rapira has also given his all and made good yards for us when he plays but hes always injured. Smith, well i think hes only had one good game for salford and that was on th opening day. He catching is bad, his kickin up the field been terrible and people know what hes going to do before he does. Im gutted cos when he played against us last season he was awsome but he isnt doing it for us this year

Jumping the gun I know but assuming two players are leaving, is this wise business just a few days before a massive cup match? Personally I'd imagine this speculation would be quite unsettling for the team.

That's why it helps when people keep schtum and don't start posting rumours on message boards.

Do you honestly expect a story of this magnitude (Started by a RL journalist on Twitter) not to be posted and discussed on this fans forum? Come on. If the Doc wanted to keep it schtum the last person he should have told was Neil Barker.
