| Exactly. They did the same to Celtic last week and it was pointed out on boots ball. I won't harp on because I've posted t before. But last week Warrington beat Celtic without scoring a point.
Won the collision.
Completed there sets n
Applied the pressure, and then put 60 past them.
Same this week. What a well drilled team.
Well done Warrington

| Why is it though we never just get beat???? when we lose(which is most weeks lol)we always get bettered and never just get beat by a try or 8-10 points!!we just simply give in,perhaps it maybe worth the super league having a look at the bonus point system??? thoughts??

| We were beaten by a better team in the end, but Warrington were beatable. They only scored when we gifted them field position, either through unforced errors or silly penalties. That meant we were doing all the defending so we tired in the last 15 mins, hence the rush of points.
Everything we did well last week just disappeared. The half backs didn't take on the line, there was no offloading, no support play and the ball rarely got out wide.

Wasn't the second try off a kick to Myler? but anyway which ever try you ment i was at the wrong end of the pitch to judge. On a slight positive atleast you did better than harlequins against us . Good luck for the rest of the season anyway and will look forward to visiting the new stadium next year.

| Got to say even I feel sorry for the Salford fans. One week things are looking up the next a disaster.I don't think anyone likes to see teams beaten by large scores.Better luck in the next game.

| I'm still trying to figure out what was worse, the refs performance first half or Salfords second half. The try chalked off was level at best. Wire were consistantly offside when we got anywhere near their 20. Broughton penalised for a knock on going towards his own line? (not sure about this one as I was at the other end). The ref then missed a blatant knock on by a Wire player (Westwood I think) under his own sticks gathering a kick. Second half was deckchairs and sunglasses and I don't mean for the fans. No excuse for that second half. Holdsworth seemed to be walking or standing still every time he got the ball then again I don't feel like I should single anybody out, second half they were all abysmal.

It's the one down side to success that some of the new 'supporters' have no clue to the history of the club and base their poorly-thought-out attitude simply on a current wave of victories. Every club needs and wants to expand its fan base, so I welcome the newbies ( just have to cringe at some of their comments). However, the majority of us recall too many a 'black Friday' at The Willows to gloat over one win, no matter how big. Personally I hope Salford get the same lift from the new stadium that Wire did from ours. Looking forward to many more competitive games from next season. In the meantime good to see that most of your fans indeed agree that Wires are (finally - for one who started watching them in 1968 ) a very good side.

Adamson looked to dump Bridge heavily and fairly late, Bridge wasn't happy and started hitting him so Adamson hit him back. Both should have been binned for fighting or Adamson binned/sent off for the dangerous/late tackle. To just bin Adamson for fighting/hitting was ridiculous considering he got hit about 3-4 times whilst on the ground.
And Warrington were superb in the 2nd half, some of their passing and movement off and around the ball was sensational and almost everything stuck for them. Best team in the league for me by a fair distance, if they don't win it this season then something has gone seriously wrong somewhere.

#1 It was Mickey Higham, not Chris Bridge.
#2 Adamson was late and followed through with an elbow as they went to ground.
#3 Adamson then kept Higham in a head lock as he started punching him.
#4 Higham didn't really hit back due to being in a head lock.
#5 Carvell then dived in and started fighting with Adamson before both teams ran in. FWIW, Carvell was very lucky not to go to the bin with Adamson for retaliation.

Apologies oh font of all knowledge. I'll just get back to my slum now I've been well and truly castigated.
And whichever Wire player was on the floor was quite clearly getting digs in, head lock or not.

I could'nt believe that the Warrington player who ran a good 30 yards to join in didn't even get spoken too or put on report. Thought rushing to join in was just as serious an offence as actually kicking off. Personally think the ref was lucky he didn't lose the game after that and that it showed great professionalism from both sets of players.

Sorry to sound like a know it all but that's a wrong account of events too. I spoke to Adamson after the game and:
1: M Higham elbowed Adamson in the face while Higham was on his back.
2: Adamson politely told him were to go after the elbow from Higham
3: Higham then brought his knee upto Adamson as if to intimidate/strike at him.
4: In defense Adamson then grabbed his leg and fell over, on top of him.
5: Then the fist's started flying at one another while Adamson was on top of Higham (no headlock punching!)
6: Carvell ran over who then started laying into Adamson but I was told Sidlow/Cashmere handled him.
7: Accordingly Higham came over after the game and apologised and said "sorry Luke I didnt know it was you!!!)
Warrington deserved a taste of there own medicine but as usual we suffer against the bigger team's. Why wasn't Carvell sent off for Punching or Higham for instigating raising his knee at Adamson. We all know Adamson and he controls himself as a professional should, its just a shame we cant get away with it like the other clubs do.

| Credit to Wire. Reckon they can do that to any team on their day as we saw when they put a similar score on Hudds away in the cup last season. Hopefully we can bounce back from it, if not at Hudds on Tues then at Quins on Saturday. Need a win before the challenge cup game.

You're spot on there, we can't really expect too much on Tuesday IMHO but we (fans, players, clubs) need to accept that our Easter fixtures were about as tough as they could be and target Quins for a result.
I know they're much improved this season but they've not had a win since Wire humped them so they'll be targeting us too - should make for a tough/interesting game.

| Was away on holiday from thurday night. Drove 7 miles for a paper to read the result this morning. Rubbed my eyes several times when looking at the scoreline, although I don't know why I was shocked as it's happened so many times before.
Who can guess what will happen at Huddersfield Tues? We'll probably get hammered................but you never know!!!!!! SALFORD, SALFORD, SALFORD.

| Reds could have still been playing today and still not scored , painful viewing for Salford fans as Wire ripped us to pieces,.Think a similer scoreline is on the cards on tuesday , Huddersfield will be looking to get back on track after their defear at Crusaders.

| Think what some people need to realise is that on Friday we played a team with star players right across the board, the best coach in SL and for me the winners of the CC again and more than likely the Grand Final.
It doesn't excuse the innept performance but did any of us really expect anything other than a lose?.
I'm also inclined to think that we may be targeting certain games for a top 8 finish Bradford was definately one of those as was the Hull KR home win, the upcoming games against Hull and london are also for me ones the team will look at as winnable where as tomorrow I see another hiding on the cards.

They may be a good team, possibly a very good but they didnt play flawless RL on Friday. Soon as Stef's try was pulled up early doors we went down hill rapidly. I didnt expect a win, but expected a contest. As ever dont mind losing (just about) if ive seen a good game and spirited performance.
Just can get on board with us picking matches to be honest. Not sure in this day and age any pro sports player/ club 'target' games for a win and accept certain defeat in others. But maybe im naive and dont get the goings on behind closed doors.
That said Hull have strung 2 wins together over easter and will be a different team. Quins are in free fall but who knows what will happen. After the Bulls match i could see us picking up 3 from the next 5 but now not sure where the next 2 pts will come from.
Would do anything for a quiet life and a bit of certainty with results. But such is life as a Salford fan!
