ITV get first pick of the FA Cup games so I would expect the Utd-City game to be in the Sunday dinnertime slot. Shouldn't affect the rugby too much.

Does anyone have the ticket details for this game yet as obviously it would have to be all-ticket with the limited capacity etc?

Cheers Pev, the £12 has been mentioned on our website but nowt about actually purchasing them - I guess that is more likely to be sorted once Salford actually get the keys to the place.

Just been confirmed that the FA cup Derby is Sunday 8th Jan at 1PM. that means me missing the first game.

great news - few pints in Eccles watching the derby followed by the 1st game @ Barton !!

May or may not be a bit of a daft question but I'd expect our lot to be dropped off in Eccles to watch the game and we've got a bit of a mix of Reds, Blues and bitter Bolton fans such as myself so are there any recommendations for 'mixed' pubs or shouldn't it be a problem?

Club are looking to move the game just read this on Salford's facebook.

"subject to confirmation that it is okay with Leigh and the RFL the Leigh game will indeed move. Saturday 7th at 2pm is what we are aiming for! Confirmation soon."

I didn't realise Leigh had taken over the organisation of this game?!

Saturday 7th January at 2pm according to the Salford website.

Although not losing anything in terms of money,travel or accommodation - which has already been sorted - I'm a bit disappointed by this decision.

Should there be any inkling of another change - perhaps on 22nd June when the fixture list shows a home game against St Helens and The Boss,(Bruce Springsteen) is at the Etihad Stadium on the same night, - would someone be so kind as to mention it on here at the earliest opportunity,which may be to my benefit.

Bruce has moved his date to the 23rd so he can watch Salford on the 22nd, he knew the clash of dates would effect ticket sales for his concert.

Not sure why we have moved this game. We have never bothered in the past. Have heard the main reason is so 'diehard' city fans the Mcnugget brothers can attend the football on the Sunday.
