YES!!! It was quite embarrassing, had to apologise at the start, but, for those who did turn up, what a cracking night

the guests on the panel were exceptionally good. Kevin was his usual "controversial" self, Lee Briers, Andy Burgess, Alan Hunte & Steve Kerry answered questions very honestly.
Sky came in for a little bit of a bashing

& the question of the Challenge Cup being de-valued from Sky was a no brainer from all the panel.
Lee, being part of the team to have won it most recently said, it is what every player aspires to win, as did the rest of the guests, & the feeling of lifting that cup is mind blowing.

Think the timing of the event was a big reason for the low turnout, but a Sports Persons dinner will be on the agenda for the new year + Race Nights & another Talk Rugby Forum, with some Legends as guests, so we need the support from everyone, look forward to seeing you all at next event.

As a few of us remarked on Friday night, it’s probably the most faithful design the club has produced since 2003 but looks remarkably like Arsenal’s home shirt circa 1992:

Cracking effort, tastefully done. Compared to some of the horrific 'shirts' Kooga have released this year I think we've done quite well.

dont really like the shirt, just looks like a crappy training top really. Also would of liked another black away shirt.

Well I was far from impressed with the away/change jersey but this I actually quite like, not a bad effort

Poor choice of word on my part. I don’t mean ‘faithful’ as in a design that adheres to what we would refer to as a classic representation of Salford’s kit (i.e. red shirt and white shorts), because it clearly isn’t. What I meant to say is that it is less busy that recent offerings; there aren’t as many awkward swathes of colour placed almost randomly across the shirt (that are evident in 2009’s home jersey and the 2010 away jersey). I don’t believe a team’s jersey should be a fashion statement, however, this design is more pleasing to the eye than any home jersey since 2003.

We have almost cracked it with this shirt. Had to add the two white bits on at the bottom though.

Gutted I could`nt make it to the Willows on friday, as for the shirt I think its pretty good.

Really like it. We had one with white sleeves not too long back when we had Darren Brown playing for us. Not too sure what year that was. This one is better than that. So what if it looks like an old Arsnal shirt, United have got a Saints shirt at the moment for their goalie

Quite like it but the sizing looks a bit funny again.

I too thought this, most teams now tend to go for the slimmer, slinkyer, I like to show me muscles off fit whereas Salford like to go for the 'sack ov spuds' look!

Remember when England ru first brought out their new snug fit shirt (think they were one of the first rugby teams to go this way) and it showed you on the news at the next game at twickers all the rather portly pig farmers & well to do types shoe horned into them quite a sight for the eyes
