The staff at the ground today told me they can't start selling tickets as the prices haven't yet been decided. Hopefully by tomorrow so sales can begin Thursday.

Not strictly true, at the very least Wilky would have to sign the transfer documents for his shares, the appropriate forms from Companies House to resign as director & chairman etc., Admittedly that could all be done by someone else acting with power of attorney though.

See my response to Barton Flyer. We both know that isn't what is holding up the takeover and my initial comment to Red League was based on his assertion that Wilky wouldn't have left the country with the deal undone which again is clearly incorrect.

Although Neil Barker in the MEN (or on its website to be precise) was the first reporter/media outlet to name Koukash as the man. All we had for the following two days until the St Helens paper interviewed him was every other media outlet rewriting the MEN story.

When you take over someone else's shares in a company or take over complete control of a company, it has to be done on paper with the two parties MDs present with a witness and a solicitor present also, then copies are scanned and printed for file you can't just fax a signature from the other side of the world. I know this because I was a witness when the chief excecutive of the company I work for bought out a rival company.

Nothing expected to be announced tomorrow according to the club on facebook. Players wages due on Friday. Is the bank account still frozen? Must be some reason they won't put tickets on sale. Maybe this is it.
