We are signing Zak Hardaker on a month's loan.

I hope they don't take him down the village when they are having welcome drinkies or it could get nasty.

Am I the only one who isn't overly impressed with Huraki? I think we'd be better sticking with the many very talented back rowers we already have and I'd love to see Walton groomed to be the number 13 we seem to be sadly lacking.

Will have count towards a quota spot? if so waste of money as there are areas we need to strengthen much more.

Another big name signed up. Unsure if this is the announcement Vickers is unveiling later this evening, but all done today apparantly.

I'm not overly enthused with Hauraki, if it is him. I don't see him as a massive upgrade on what we already have. I suppose his connections to Rangi always made this move on the cards.

Where would the probable arrival of Dobson leave Sneyd and Fages though? Cannot imagine either Chase or Dobson being moved out of the halves positions.

Its not Dobson being announced according the BBC radio, they tweeted in reply to the claim earlier.

Well that wasn't massively underwhelming at all was it...

I can't wait to see a pack consisting of Hauraki, Hock and Hansen.

As long as it's not Kevin Locke when he comes over...

He's a big friend of Rangi's and if he helps him play to his full potential next year it's worth signing Hauraki just for that. I wouldn't say I'm jumping up and down with excitement about this signing but he should add some size to the pack and he's better than some of our fringe players.

The best news for me was about Marc Sneyd returning because he's a quality young player that came through our youth system.

Did they announce Sneyd is coming back as well? Switched off after the announcement.

Should put an end to the cringey speculative posts from some Cas fans at least.

Yes he met up with the Doc and the CEO earlier in the week and it was confirmed that he will be returning next year.

I was awaiting (along with the drum roll)

the new signing is ........ thought he was going to say Paul Gallen or Billy the kid and i'm sure he said weller huraki ????

I thought when the CEO mentioned Cas I was thinking Daryl Clark.
