I've been surprised at how many Wigan fans have got all mardy with this one. Claiming everything from his best days are behind him, racked with injury, not a big loss, replaceable, offers nothing exciting, to being greedy and Koukash is cheating. Admittedly there are some Wigan fans that are grounded in reality, but for those that are not they really need to grow-up.

Funny how all these reasons never popped-out when the speculation was rife.

It's brilliant eh? Alright, as good as Hansen is we all know it isn't a SBW / Billy Slater level of signing, but we've gone to the champions, offered one of their best players more money than they can, and he's gone for it. However much some of them give it the old "had his best years, wrists knackered blah blah blah", he'd be one of the first names in their starting 13 this season, and they all know it.

Is it all about the money? Probably, aye, but we've got loads of it now. Get used to it.

Koucash has been a breath of fresh air for the game. The difficulties you may face are that basically he has signed a bunch of players who no-one else really wanted (Melli/Pulletua/Smith/Morley) or could handle (Chase/Hock/Gleeson)- untill HH. Good luck to Nobby moulding a team out of that lot. (Actually if anyone could do it Nobby would be the man)

The signing of HH is a real show of intent. A real hard worker who will give his all. Just don't expect too many tries or assists.

Good signing is this. A position that Wigan are strong in (especially now with Bateman) and a player that will certainly help Salford make the 8. Don't think he's the best second rower in super league as someone said, but a very good player. Im not a particular fan of the good doctor, more for his manner than his intentions but what he's doing over there is exactly what this sport needs. Be interesting to see how you go next year.
