Someone at Hull needs to sack their "excellent London lawyers".Didnt seem to take that long for the Doc to get his man a Visa.

"We've put a lot of effort in over the last 10 days to get him and he was really keen to come here.

Given the circumstances of how the Doc came to this country and eventually marrying an English girl and having children then he must have gained a fair bit of experience in dealing with the UKBA or whatever they were called at the time.Obviously slightly different circumstances but also many similarities.

Except that the rules have changed again, making getting the visa easier. Nothing to do with the Doc at all, no matter how much he bigs it up on Twitter

According to all the "legal eagles" that have posted on here recently, and listening to politicians on the news, Visa's and immigration is much more difficult than it was. Rangi's situation may well have changed, the Legal Team employed by Marwan may well be better, more experienced or have more specific expertise than that used by Hull. At the end of the day who cares, the result is everything. Let the doubters eat humble pie.

Funny how all the legal experts who have been Bigging it up on here recently didnt tell us it was now actually easier to get a visa.According to them, because he had a conviction then it was a certainty that he wouldnt.If they had told us that then we wouldnt have been so worried.

An amazing player who is capable of the sublime to the *What are you doing you idiot*. I've enjoyed every second of him at Cas & I'm sure you guys will at Salford. Don't expect it to be boring, don't expect it to be routine and believe me not everything will be smooth with RC but you will be entertained. I fully expect you to be a very entertaining side (similarly to us from April onwards). I'll miss the guy at Cas but I feel it's right for Cas as a club to move on too, there's been 3 years of uncertainty from rangi and as well as years of class from him there's been years of inability to close out a game and not much maturity, with that being said, you have a class scrum half along side him.

I can't speak for other 'legal eagles' but Chris28 actually works for a company that deals with visa applications. If he says the rules are now easier then I'd tend to believe him.

Beside which Chase's circumstances could have changed and nobody posting on here would necessarily know that.

Visa applications are tricky. Congrats to Chase on finally getting his approved.

Except no-one said it was a certainty he wouldn't get one, but that it wasn't a certainty that he would - 2 very different things. His contract being subject to a successful visa application would suggest at least an element of caution. Still, let's stick to just relentlessly slagging anyone with legitimate questions eh?

I certainly didn't fancy their chances, but as I have said previously - anything is possible when there is an element of interpretation.
