| First game of the season & the ticketing issues are pathetic!! I have 3 season tickets, me & my 2 sons. Only 2 have arrived so the youngest didn't go tonight. I have been trying for 2 weeks to see where it is & yesterday rang again about it to be told they would call me back in a few minutes, still waiting!! Not impressed! Also, 3 people around me tonight couldn't sit in their season ticket seats as they had been sold and someone else was sat in them!! Seriously it's not like they've only had a couple of weeks to sort it out, they've had months!! Its an absolute joke! I dare say others at the game have had similar experiences tonight. Not a good start!!

| think someone on here said regarding the stadium its all for corporate and the big nice posh west stand is for them to and the rest was designed by school kids.
the fans are left with 3 small very basic stands with not much to shout about in.
if they really wonted to please the fans when building this stadium we would have a standing on the side lines and not both behind the posts.
also a proper area for fans to drink in.

| Outsider here, looking in but if Ledge did call and asked about his missing ticket. Then he should have had a call back and if they could not find the ticket, some kind of replacement should have been offered to allow his son to go.
They could have quite easily called back said I'm sorry sir at present we are unable to find the missing season ticket, but if you pop down to the club at a time of your convenience or even on the night in question there will be a replacement season ticket. Can I just confirm the original ticket details with yourself so we can get the replacement to match the original. For now the new ticket will be a temporary pass, but as soon as we can we will get a full replacement issued.
I hope that is satisfactory and for the inconvinance and the fact this was not sorted earlier we have included a complementary voucher for refreshments on the opening night.
I'm sure most fans can understand teething issues, but they still need resolving prior to kick off to allow people to attend. At the cost of a £5 in drinks vouchers would maintain goodwill. Just a thought.

| not a great first impression of the new ground although you are always going to get teething problems,only 2 turnstiles open at our end to start with baring in mind that 9 coaches all arrived at the same time so it took about 20 mins stood in snow just to get in,again only one outlet with 4 people serving for around 1200 people and then the cardinal sin of running out of lager before the game has even kicked off.
the way out was pretty smooth considering there is only one road in and out and they got the coaches away bypassing all the traffic.
has i said all just teething problems on a bitterly cold night and i look forward to going back in better conditions.
bit of a worry that there were only 4500 people there and even worse that we brought a good following with us,i dont know how you can pay the rates and survive on those gates for too long.

We were away in no time, parked at the airport had a few beers there and then after the game straight out of the car park and onto the motorway, nothing like the chaos of the Leigh game so the traffic management is working.
Before the game my mate went to the shop to pick up his season ticket which hadn't arrived and it was there at the shop for him no problem. I love the way the fans go on how 3 the club are and how long they have had to put everything in place. Last season despite paying in May for my United season ticket, I and loads others were told with a week to go before the first game that we might have to collect from the club on the Monday of the first game, i was lucky mine arrived on the Saturday, the thing is because our post is in the afternoon if the game would have been on the Saturday i would have left to queue at the ticket office before my ticket had arrived. Still many thousands had to queue before the game to pick up their tickets so even the Worlds biggest sporting club can get ticket allocation wrong.

| I did find it rather strange that only one of the two outlets was open in the main stand, you'd like to think this was staffing issues rather than what will be the norm.
Also they definately need the four pint holders you used to get at the Willows.

my mate lives in Heywood so we went before kick off on the day of the game to pick it up, he had phoned but couldn't get through so he decided best thing was to go before kick off, mine didn't come until Wednesday and I had been paying since June. The easiest way is to communicate with the club is via facebook or twitter, they tend to reply very quickly to the questions on there because people can see it.

well in the past the club have always phoned me back be it the shop or the marketing office, perhaps it is how some people are on the phone when making the first call, just a suggestion.

I phoned on Wednesday to say my ST had not arrived.
I got a call back later that day to tell me what to do if it had not arrived by Friday.
Ticket arrived Thursday so panic over but overall I was very happy with how it was handled.

I am saying they shouldn't phone them back but human nature dictates what will happen, unless we have a trained staff who can take the crap some people give some calls will not be made, it is not a call centre, and I bet the staff are only on minimum wage and not paid to take crap. But they are the public face of the club and it is by their actions that the club is judged, perhaps the club need to look at this and try and sort it.

| I purchased two season tickets in Jan - chose the ''last two'' on N row W3
I received one the week before the match and spent days chasing the other - again no one ever rang back. Finally got past the ridiculous phone sysyem by going for the operator option and got Stuart who was very helpful. Arranged to collect ticket on Friday before match. When I got to the shop and received my tickets I found they were for A row. I asked where were my bought tickets and was told they had sold them to someone else and so re located me. I refused to accept this and Stuart went somewhere and came back with two more tickets on N row about 6 seats from the previous ones - so much for the last two!!!. At the stadium I found the row was practically empty.
A long rant but I think this is the reason we are not going any where a complete shambles in the running of the club and it must filter down to the players so they have no reason to have a team spirit.
If Dave Tarry is responsible for the running of the club's day to day admin he wants relieving of the job.

yes but United have a closing date of two months before the season starts, Salford had no cut off date so tickets were being sold on a daily basis, perhaps it costs more to print off individually and they wait until they have a set number before doing a print run, only a suggestion.

| fam guessing thease season ticket cards are just ur standard cards with bit of graphics an a bar code on the back, now i no colleges when enrolling you have the same cards an simply have a machine next to them that prints everything or at least a template with your picture on.
do not no what the club do they must send the details off for someone else to do. think they would be more efficient with doing it them selves

I think it's more a case of people not having their sh*t together as usual. One of the lads has had his money taken but there's no record of him either being a season ticket holder or on their DD scheme. You have to expect a small number of problems but even in my small circle of mates there have been umpteen issues.
