anyone heard anything, any predictions/ hopes???

When my friend bought tickets yesterday there were 4000 left in ground....so by that reckoning about 7500 sold so far?

I would hope for 8k.

And if it snows and puts people off, we can just do a Bradford and announce the attendance as however many tickets and season tickets have been sold.

I reckon I'll rock up on the day- I might be a Wire but living on the other side of the canal I can hardly not come and see your new stadium on its first match night.

I know someone who's got an apprenticeship at one of Wilkys companies, he said people he works with have been saying the gates capped at 9k because there wasn't enough people at the Wigan game to get to the next stage in the capacity, hope its a lie!

Not sure where you get your 4000 from la as official attendance was 5282. Yes, it's disappointing but I'm not surprised given the weather. It was never gonna be a sell-out but think 7k-8k could have been achieved given some half decent weather. The "floating" fans more than likely stayed at home in front of the fire & watched on Sky. Decent effort by the Cas fans to make it over and safe journey home guys & gals!

It was actually 5242 but don't let the facts get in the way of what I would agree was a dreadful turnout. Whoever on here posted we'd sold over 8300 as well, I'd say next time wherever you get your info from keep it to yourself!
