[iIt would appear Ray Cashmere will be returning home at the end of this season acording to the local press reports this morning.

Big Ray has done well in a Reds shirt and I for one would like to wish him and his family all the very best for the future.

Ray is our best forward by MILES. It is going to be very hard indeed to replace him.

I'll be very sad to see Ray go at the end of the season, he's been one of our best performers this season I think. Let's hope we can get a decent replacement, and all the best to him and his family in the future.

Its a shame to see ray cashmere leave he as been are most consistant performer he will be missed if true.

I thought I read they had offered a new deal,but they could not agree.

It's a shame, but this guy has been awesome for us and I think we should wish him and his family all the best for the future.

I don't recall it ever being announced in any press reports or anything being on the official site that Boyle had signed a new contract. But then again, we never 'officially' signed Adam Neal - I never saw any story about that either.

Anyone got any news on Parker? Has he recovered from his virus?

The club should do everything in it's power to keep Ray. I haven't seen anything official saying he's going and I hope there's nothing in it.

I cann't recall it saying he was going home - if anything, I remember it saying he was keen to stay. Don't know where people are getting the information about big Ray leaving from, as I haven't seen that anywhere. Let's hope he stays, as in my opinion, he has been one of the stand out players for us this year.

I haven't seen it in the MEN but it's the main sport story in the Advertiser that's come today
