I heard on Twitter (yes, I know...) that Cas were having a press conference today at 1pm to announce that Chase was staying at the club.

Is that 100% were you actually there?

He's also posting it on opposition forums. He's coming across to me as a sheet stirrer.

Not a stirrer just wanted to make sure his story is true? And I've not come across in a bad way just posting info that I've seen on here. After all it's a PUBLIC forum.

It's interesting to us. But when the same poster goes straight on the opposition fans forums it's just to wind them up. If they come on here and see it fair enough, I don't really see the merit of them trying to wind-up opposition fans who already pretty much detest us anyway.

People are having a pop because, assuming this guy's not a fantasist, it's a complete breach of trust.

I'm sure plenty of people on here have been party to sensitive info in recent months but we don't post it all on here.

Presumably someone has invited this person into the club offices and, if what he says is true, he has chosen to completely disregard the trust placed upon him.

There is a lot of assuming going on here isnt there. Like you assuming this information was infact sensitive, and you assuming ex-salfordian was trusted to keep it away from the public domain. How do you know he has breached and/or dis regarded anybodys trust, you wasnt party to the conversation he had. Or are you just assuming, again?

Let's get off peoples back who decide to actually share the information they're told shall we. I typically choose to keep hold of the majority of information I am told unless I am 100% certain to avoid the hassle and grief from people like you.

Chase owes money back in Oz so it's unlikely that he's return there.

Brian Noble got Trent Barrett to call Terry Newton on more than one occasion so i would presume there is some truth that he is still using this tactic.

Why would Tim Smith be convinced to sign by talking to Rangi Chase. It's not like they are buddies.

Maybe not, but taking your new potential half-back partner for a chat, player to player could bring some motivation, especially if they click on a personal level.

I think thats irrelevant RL. I still owe money in Yorkshire but I still go there.
