Think Ryan Giggs follows Wigan. He wrote the foreword for Kris Radlinski's book (which is a very good read by the way). Seems he follows them rater than us. Don't know if it's cos his dad played for Swinton even though he doesn't get on with him that well!

Interesting that Giggs is a Salford fan. Maybe it be used as a marketing tool in the final season at The Willows, I know he has the Freedom of Salford. He could be presented with something of give a speech, I'm sure it would attract a few extra fans if they knew Giggs was doing a speech or what ever it might be.

Think I read that Party in the park has been scrapped to save money, pity as a final league game with an earlish kick off and then all wobble up the hill to see some rousing entertainment would have been most fitting.

Still think with some of the musical talent we have that has come from Salford the club should try and sort something.

A Russel Watson, Hooky, Sweeney and Graham Nash (OK an adopted Salfordian but brilliant all the same) colabaration would be a good start.
