You don't know that. There is no suggestion at all (Bar one Saints fan who is convinced it's already happened) that Saints have or would put in any offer for him. The praise for Fages wasn't out of context with the usual pre-game ramble. You very often get coaches singling out a player for praise or attention before a game.

I really can't see us paying a transfer fee for a backup half back. I'd quite like it to be true, but it would be very unusual.
