Tried this bar out on friday pre match,very impressed,not quite your typical weatherspoons,but well worth a punt,good food and beer at dangerously cheap prices



,shuttle bus providied good service to the SCS,Think more reds should give this a try

Sounds good, hopefully it'll be on later! And hopefully it'll be nicer than that Salford Best Bitter they had in the Willows, if I remember correctly



Aye there's quite few to choose from now. Plus now with the shuttle buses to Irlam station, there's a couple of pubs round there for anyone down that way.

I asked for a pint of that once. The response was "I'll do you a Tetley's, that stuff is bloody awful." Said it all when the staff didn't want to sell it.

To be fair to him, not only did he put the name of the pub in the title of the thread, it's been discussed on here previously and been publicised by the club. So it was a fair assumption to assume most people would put two and two together.

. I was unlucky enough to try it. Not nice. Not nice at all. Red City Ale's not bad though.
