yep, I pay the same as a person in London, despite the license fee being more expensive proportionally in the North than it is in London.

Personally, I think at 40 pence per day per household, the BBC offer a fantastic range of services. Much much better than ITV or any of the cable/satellite providers.
(p.s. They have just 'again' mentioned Blue Peter and Salford on Radio 2 news).
I feel sure that the Beebs move to Salford can only be a good thing for the area, and possibly for SRLFC in time.

News at One also mentioned the move to Salford, just a shame they only ever show Television Centre and the goings on there, instead of also showing the new state of the art facilty on the Quays In Salford to show the rest of the country what a superb place it has become and to where exactly it is they are moving to.
