Too true.

Whilst I agree that Crusaders are our bogey team, the concept of bogey team's per se is questionable. I mean, to have certain team/s that you simply can not beat, end of, no argument, is just ridiculous. However, one team's awareness that they possess the 'bogey team' mantle (Crusaders in this case) is undoubtedly a motivating factor. But this is the point I was trying to make in my initial post. Despite what occurred the week before last night's game, Crusaders were always going to step their game up.
Arguably, Warrington over the past 3 years have been a better team than Saints. (Marginally) Yet up until recently they simply couldn't beat them. Classic 'bogey team' scenario. Yet, despite being confident of their ability, they went to even higher levels of focus and determination and finally defeated their bogey team. Thoroughly professional and a definite sign of maturity.
For me, I think it's highly likely that the collective ego of the team got out of hand this week and subsequently detracted from the required focus to execute the task at hand.
And thus, we are STILL Crusaders bitch!
