Connor Jones? That would be a strange one. Signed a new contract a couple of months ago so would need a transfer fee and you already have Hood, Doyle and Smith. Fev using his picture today to promote Sunday's 1895 Cup game on SM.

I wouldn't sign any more until season starts.
Anyone else is only signing to sit on sidelines or make someone else do it.

I think we have to see what we've got and then decide accordingly.

Perhaps with Lawford will already have a player with potential, but with halves so thin on the ground and Gale not getting any younger it may be a consideration. No idea if he's ant good mind.

Looking at 2023 he played 8 and the team lost 8. Not particularly inspiring. Would be better investing in Lawford.

If we are to sign a halfback it needs to be a good quality one who can take charge of the team for SL 2025. Halfback is one position we should not take a gamble on.

Most definitely, I would think the club will have feeler out already as we will have to assemble a stronger squad for our anticipated return to the big time than we are running with this year
