I think that's an extra 5k on top of the 10k originally fined because we appealed and lost it plus extra sanction of losing 2points

Why harsh? With no relegation, there's no difference between bottom and second bottom.

There is no difference to Salford - but it could make a difference for the teams around them in the table.

In what way? Final league placings outside the top 8 are irrelevant.

How exactly?!? London and Cas are never gonna make the top 8. Salford aren't in competition for the playoffs - our points deduction has not benefitted any other club one iota in the grand scheme of things.

Still 2 points regardless of the situation its not as if the simple mistake justifies the punishment, What if that had a been a team in the top two and fighting for the league shield ???

Saints got fined £100 when they were found guilty of fielding 14 players in the past. One rule for the big clubs and another for the smaller? Don't say that, don't ever say that...

He is at again, now he has made the rugby news for saying he is buying a football club, going to be a long press conference on Aug 9th when he gets all this off his chest.
He might find time to turn Salford around while taking over the world of sport.

I think its funny how much media attention he gets, he is an amazing publicised, he should be employed by the RFL, he would get us blue chip companies bidding against each other to be involved.

He's not going to die wondering, is he? I've got to say, he's winning me round (not that he needs to, I don't support his team). He could do with saying less silly things but you've got to admire his balls.*

Query whether buying another sports team so soon after Salford is a good thing for them but if he's the all powerful mega rich benefactor he appears to me, it shouldn't slow him down.

When Koukash took on Salford he didn't imply all his horses were heading for the glue factory because he had a new interest .

He's certainly not one for kicking his heels .

2 intersting things I've noticed since Koukash has arrived (aside from the sceptics of which, to an extent, I am one):-

1 - The amount of people who, after passively aggressively having a go at Koukash, say things like "I hope it works out" or "I hope this really gives Salford the push they need" or, as one clown put it "Hopefully we'll see an FC v Salford Grand final". We only have 14 FT teams so we need them to be as strong as possibly, but we're all club loyalists at the end of the day. Sure, we may went them to improve, but not to the extent that it puts Salford over our own club, let's be honest about that.

2 - The way that, almost to a man, Salford fans will believe and support anything this guy does. Completely understandable considering the mess they were in but he could announce plans to give Chinese burns to every fan entering the stadium on match days and some of them would say "Well, he's shaking up Superleague, it's what we need." or "he demands success, he knows what he wants, if that's what we need so be it."

Neither of the above are necessarily intended to be criticisms, it's just something that happens every 5 or 6 posts.
