I’m struggling to see how Leeds recent failures are solely Sinfield’s fault. It’s not as though Leeds were playing great rugby and enjoying success before he was appointed. He’s made a couple of questionable decisions (getting rid of Garbutt and appointing Furner being the main two) but I doubt there’s a single owner, head coach or director of rugby who hasn’t. It’s very premature to be writing him off. It was always going to be a big rebuild at Leeds given the state of the squad and the lack of investment in it for a while. He should be given until mid next season before being completely written off.

I think Agar could take on the Sinfield role with much more success tbh. He's not head coach material granted but can spot a player & knows the game inside out. It's a shame for Leeds that it's too big a decision to either get shut of Sinfield or sideline him.

Not solely his fault but he and Furner are the key men for where we are this season IMO. If we’d have kept things the same but gave McDermott the kind of cash that Sinfield’s getting we’d have been fine this year, maybe not challenging but steady enough. The rugby may not have been great previously but same was said of Wane and between him and McDermott they’ve won 7 of the last 8 GF. As for not enjoying success before he was appointed we’d won 2 of the previous 3 GF’s and were well set a third of the way into 2018 for the playoffs before injuries took a toil, that can happen to any team, looks like it could be Cas this season. He should get until next season where he can build his own squad over time......just a shame he didn’t realise that too and instead tried to force change this year and lost the current dressing room.
