The RFL should never have agreed to cut the Bulls money. The Precedent was set with Wakey & Crusaders. It was an awful mistake by the RFL to allow that to happen and we wouldn't be in this mess now.

Unfortunately another catalog of error from OK and the RW (putting it nicely) after this decision was made have resulted in the club in this mess again.

Would love to have being a fly on the wall when Moore etc were with the RFL trying to buy the club off OK and what REALLY happened. Alas we will never know, i don't think either party are faultless in this however.

Hope Richard Lamb comes to the rescue though!

If a solution that keeps everyone "happy" is found to those situations, you take it - whilst in hindsight the tv money deal is stupid, it's not the rfls fault for accepting it! Any solution is better than no solution!

That statement sems to be what most posters on here have been saying yet FA and the other apologists have said it is not true.

I await with baited breath FA's suggestion and legal arguement on why the RFL have behaved illegally and that the Coourt of arbitration in Europe are now looking into it. Despite this i still think that the Bulls sqaud as it is will not go down but if it goes into admin or liquidation all the answers are going to be provided off field rather than onfield and that is the sad thing for the Bulls and their decent supporters.

The worst thing about the RFL is that they should have dealt with this before the season started and the Bulls should have been admitted only if the proper finances and plans were in place.

I find it unbelievable that the directors have come out with the statement they have.

Seems they are playing hardball, so another Bulls owner or prospective owner not wanting to play by the rules.

It's widely known that 6 points is the penalty, saying they feel the RFL have not supported the Bulls is somewhat laughable, given the outrage to the loans, the hands off players. etc.

I had no issue with the Bulls to this point, but now I just don't care any longer. If they get another owner fine. But I've lost any patience with even trying to justify that they have not been treated favorably. If they wish to die as a club then let them die. Given all the talk about cutting their costs, maybe a fan take over for £1 will be fine as they would still be able to run from the same finances.

I'd expect some will have a field day with this as they genuinely wanted the Bulls gone. For me I've just given up caring anymore.

Cutting through all the (no pun intended) bull, it seems that the Bulls 2014 consortium had either no will to or no funds to actually invest in the Bulls as a club. Asking for another £500k weeks, if not days after getting £300k from sky, means they were right up against it.

Where has all the money from Season tickets gone?

A very rough and underestimation of 4000 ST's at £200 a pop gives you £800k, in the last few months.
Add sponsorship money and youve got at least the same again.

I suggested earlier in this thread (about 90 pages ago!) that all clubs should be flush at this point in the year. Its in 6 months when the ST and sponsorship money's been spent they will struggle. How can they have no money now??

After reading that RFL statement again it seems the RFL are now agreeing that the bulls haven't been playing to the same rules with regard to cutting their cloth and shedding players when they should have done like Wakey and Cas have.

I'd guess most of that was paid to the 'OK' incarnation and any that hadn't been spent would have gone with the administration.

Okbulls were in charge, up until they went into administration, so I imagine everything up until the 31st of January (I think) will have gone into oks attempts of clawing back some of the money he invested into the club after mark Moore announced to the world he wouldn't pay a penny back ...

Good point. How have the Bulls got away with retaining so many players if they are so short of cash. Seems like they have been on the never-never for years and are looking to continue. The RFL have effectively said "enough is enough" and good on them.

They can start from scratch and prove themselves from a clean slate in Champ 1. With the move to the 3 x8's it should be a far easier prospect than it was under franchising.

Its a nightmare. Its a real possibility that the Bulls who just 10 yrs ago were the very pinicle of the sport, could simply not exist before the end of this season

If as we are led to believe the players were TUPE'd across to a company that no longer has any monies coming in or any connection to a RL club were in the blue hell does that leave the players.
